What the stamp says

The window of the card holds a bar with all the marks of the house. We read them on the photograph.

Bar in a card

A card one millimetre thick

According to the house, the card is the size of a credit card: 85.6 by 54 millimetres, one millimetre thick.

The house calls it FineCard: a bar of 999.9 fine gold is set into the card. It holds the same 1 g bar as the UnityBox.

The house intends the FineCard as a gift for “matters of the heart”. Its motif shows the occasion.

Heimerle + Meule

A house from Pforzheim

Recovering and refining precious metal has been at the heart of the house since its founding. Today it recovers gold and silver from jewellery, coins, dental gold alloys, silverware and silver-plated cutlery, as well as from industrial residues.

Chronicle

The chronicle of the house

  1. 1845

Julius Dittler founds a sweepings works, a “Kehretsanstalt”, in Pforzheim to recover precious metal from production waste on behalf of his customers.

  2. 1945

In the war the company building is destroyed, according to the house on 23 February. The house finds new premises at the jewellery and watch factory Knoll + Pregitzer.

  3. 1977

The house leaves the town centre and moves into premises in the Brötzinger Tal industrial area.

  4. 2010

The house introduces its investment products division.

  5. 2014

On 3 June the LBMA, the association of the London precious metals market, admits Heimerle + Meule to its Good Delivery List for gold, the register of accredited refiners.

LBMA

What the London list means

The LBMA’s Good Delivery List names the refiners whose bars may be delivered into the London market.

It refers to large bars: for gold between 350 and 430 fine ounces, about 10.9 to 13.4 kilograms. Smaller bars do not count in London wholesale trading, so a bar of 1 g is not a Good Delivery bar.

The print “LBMA Good Delivery Refiner” on the packaging therefore refers to the house, not to the individual bar.

1 g Gold Bar Heimerle + Meule „Happy Wedding Anniversary" – genuine investment gold in an elegant FineCard

  • Investment goal: With gold bars you protect your wealth exceptionally effectively against the creeping devaluation of money.
  • Value preservation: A small gold bar is a reliable store of value that preserves the real substance of your wealth and reinforces it over the years.
  • Protection: Especially in phases of inflation, recession and rampant government debt, you can support your wealth with physical gold.
  • Crisis protection: Especially small-denomination gold bars are excellent as a means of payment and exchange in an emergency.

The 1g gold bar from Heimerle + Meule combines two things that rarely come together: a personal occasion and tangible substance. A Brilliant Uncirculated bar of 999.9 fine gold is securely embedded in a FineCard the size of a credit card. The card bears the greeting „Happy Wedding Anniversary!" in flowing script – alongside a deep red rose with green leaves, a gift tied with red ribbon, and small red hearts on an elegantly textured, dark background. The true core, however, remains the gold: the design and message are the personal touch, while the fine gold is the substance and the reason for the purchase.

German craftsmanship from Heimerle + Meule

Heimerle + Meule is one of Germany's most traditional gold and silver refineries and has been active in the precious metals business since 1845. The minted bar bears the inscription „HEIMERLE + MEULE", the designation „FINE GOLD 999.9", the company logo with the year 1845, the weight „1g", and the „melter assayer" hallmark. As an LBMA-recognized Good Delivery Refiner, the company stands for the highest purity and verified quality – including quality management certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. A certificate of authenticity is included, documenting weight and fineness in black and white.

Why small gold bars are convincing as an inflation hedge

Gold is humanity's oldest currency and has been a proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It possesses intrinsic value, has never had a price of zero, and protects its owner from loss of purchasing power. While paper money can be multiplied at will, the supply of gold is naturally scarce – a key reason for its long-term value stability. It is no coincidence that the world's central banks hoard enormous gold reserves; those who print their own fiat money while simultaneously accumulating gold send a clear signal. As an inflation hedge, physical gold has always been in demand whenever confidence in currencies begins to crumble.

It is precisely the small denomination that holds its appeal: a 1 gram gold bar allows entry into physical gold investment with manageable capital and enables wealth accumulation in small, plannable steps. Over the years, such units add up to a considerable holding. Gold is tradable worldwide, highly liquid, and can be converted back into cash at any time – an advantage that carries significant weight in uncertain times. Compared to large bars, the one-gram unit offers maximum flexibility for later resale: you only need to part with as much as you currently require.

Give a genuine gold investment for a wedding anniversary

Would you like to give special meaning to a wedding anniversary? Then don't give a fleeting present – give full-fledged investment gold instead. Despite the personal occasion, you are acquiring minted fine gold whose value is directly tied to the gold price and which remains a lasting asset for the recipient. In this way, a congratulatory gesture becomes a genuine asset that can even be passed down from generation to generation.

Substance instead of transience: minted fine gold from Heimerle + Meule, packaged in a card that celebrates the moment – and a value that endures.

A side note: profits from the sale of physical gold are generally tax-free after a holding period of at least one year. The 1 g gold bar in the FineCard thus combines heart and mind – a personal message and a crisis-proof gold investment in one.
