Minted bars

Clean lines, a crisp strike

On a minted bar, lettering and marks stand out sharply on a smooth surface, and the edges are straight. The house describes its minted bars as clean in design and finely made, with a distinctive strike.

The back of this small bar is plain.

Heimerle + Meule

A house from Pforzheim

Recovering and refining precious metal has been at the heart of the house since its founding. Today it recovers gold and silver from jewellery, coins, dental gold alloys, silverware and silver-plated cutlery, as well as from industrial residues.

LBMA

What the London list means

The LBMA’s Good Delivery List names the refiners whose bars may be delivered into the London market.

It refers to large bars: for gold between 350 and 430 fine ounces, about 10.9 to 13.4 kilograms. Smaller bars do not count in London wholesale trading, so a bar of 1/100 oz is not a Good Delivery bar.

From the dust of the workshops

The year in the medallion, 1845, is the year in which the story of the house begins.

Heimerle + Meule, Pforzheim.

  • Investment objective: With a gold bar like this one, you effectively protect your wealth from creeping currency devaluation.
  • Value preservation: The bar serves as a proven store of value, preserving the real substance of your wealth and securing it over the years.
  • Protection: Especially in times of inflation, recession, and growing government debt, you protect yourself with physical gold.

1/100 oz Gold Bar Heimerle + Meule – great protection in the smallest format

The gold bar in the 1/100 ounce format weighs in at around 0.31 grams of pure fine gold, making it one of the smallest minted gold units on the market. It is produced by Heimerle + Meule, the traditional Pforzheim refinery with roots dating back to 1845. Despite its compact format, you are acquiring genuine investment gold here: its value is based on the fine gold content and moves in line with the gold price. Not merely a design, but real substance – that is the actual reason to buy.

Crisis protection in your pocket

Small units are the cornerstone of any provisioning strategy. As crisis protection, this bar offers maximum flexibility. It can easily be carried in your wallet while travelling without attracting attention – whether for emergencies at home or abroad. In times of currency instability, gold has always served as a globally recognized medium of exchange. Small denominations of gold and silver in particular are popular products for remaining capable of acting and staying secure in a wide range of emergency situations. Anyone diversifying their wealth combines several such units into a divisible reserve – retaining control even when other means of payment falter.

Inflation hedge and value preservation

Gold is the oldest currency in the world and has been a proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It has never had a value of zero, because it possesses an inherent, intrinsic worth. As an inflation hedge, physical gold preserves your purchasing power, while fiat money can be multiplied at will via the printing press and steadily loses value. It is no coincidence that the world's central banks hold gold as a reserve. Value preservation is at the forefront with this bar: small amounts of gold add up over the years to a considerable fortune that you can pass on across generations. And anyone who gives genuine investment gold as a gift for an occasion such as a birth, christening, or wedding is not presenting a fleeting item, but a lasting asset.

The raised, sharply struck engravings and the shiny, mirror-like surface underscore the quality of German craftsmanship. Heimerle + Meule is one of Europe's leading precious metals refineries and has stood for precision and reliability for over 175 years.

Compared to larger bars, the premium per gram is naturally higher for this miniature – however, the clear advantage lies in its fine divisibility: you can already enter the physical gold market with a small budget and build up your reserve step by step. Anyone wishing to buy this minted gold bar from Heimerle + Meule is opting for high liquidity, tradability at any time, and a value based on the gold price.

Gold is God's money – and this bar makes its stability accessible to everyone in small units.
