The Roman goddess of fortune, blindfolded, with a horn of plenty full of coins. PAMP has struck her since 1979, when, by its own account, she became the first artistic design on a precious metals bar.

The other side
Weight, fineness, serial number.
The stamped side carries the PAMP mark, the weight and fineness, the assayer’s mark and a serial number that only this bar bears.
The card
Sealed, with a certificate.
Every bar lies sealed in its card. The back of the card is the certificate, with number, fineness, weight and the assayer’s signature. VERISCAN comes on top: PAMP’s app recognises the bar by its surface, like a fingerprint, even through the card.

50g Gold Bar PAMP Suisse: Swiss fine gold with the profile of Fortuna
- Investment goal: With gold bars, you do not leave the protection of your wealth against inflation to chance.
- Preserving value: Fine gold stores the real value of your wealth and gives your savings permanence for the decades to come.
- Protection: Rising prices, recession and heavily indebted states put savings under pressure. With gold, you shield your wealth against them.
- Motif: the minted profile of Fortuna, designed after models from antiquity
- Fineness: 999.9/1,000, made in Switzerland
In ancient Rome, Fortuna stood for luck and fate. On this bar, her portrait adorns 50 g of fine gold and with it a form of provision that does not depend on luck at all. In this way, the 50g Gold Bar PAMP Suisse combines a motif from antiquity with a reliable inflation hedge.
Fortuna in profile: the motif on the front
The front shows the profile of a woman with an elaborate hairstyle. Her hair is arranged in intricate curls and waves, and on her head she wears an ornament reminiscent of a wreath or a diadem. The design draws on models from Greek and Roman antiquity. PAMP calls this motif Fortuna, after the Roman goddess of luck. Aesthetics and provision go hand in hand here: you enjoy looking at the bar and at the same time keep it as part of your wealth.
How inflation eats away at savings over decades
Inflation rarely shows itself as a big jump. Usually the cost of living rises a little year after year, so little that it is hardly noticeable in everyday life. Over twenty or thirty years, however, these small steps add up to a considerable loss of purchasing power, felt above all by savers whose wealth is held in paper money.
A bar with 50 g of fine gold, by contrast, still contains exactly 50 g of fine gold after decades. As far back as antiquity, where the figure of Fortuna also comes from, people kept their prosperity in gold. To this day it is also regarded as proven crisis protection when political or economic tensions shake confidence in currencies.
Gold as a fixed part of your provision
Well-considered provision includes deciding how much gold you want to own in the long term. You set this goal once and stick to it, instead of reacting to every headline. With this bar, you move 50 g of fine gold closer to your goal in one go. The bar is VAT-free when you buy it, as it counts as investment gold.
Origin, packaging and certificate
The bar was made in Switzerland, as the SWISS MADE print in the lower left corner of the packaging also indicates. It comes in a blue blister card that leaves the gold visible from the front, while a silver embossing in the style of fine lace sets an elegant contrast. A certificate of authenticity is included. Written out in full, the abbreviation PAMP stands for Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux, and this French name alone reveals the manufacturer's artistic ambition.
